I'm currently at work on a follow-up novella to Calico Christmas at Dry Creek -- the story of Virginia and Colter. Several of you have emailed and asked if I was going to do the story of these two so I am glad to tell you I am writing away. The novella will come out during Christmas 09.
My hope is that I will be able to write a series of historical books to match the contemporary Dry Creek books.
If you have any thoughts or questions on the historical Dry Creek books, just post them here.
I haven't read any of the contemporary Dry Creek books yet, but I loved the historical! I can't wait to read about Virginia and Colter and hope we can see more in the future.
ReplyDeleteOh good, more of your wonderful books to look forward to! Have gotten sidetracked from spending time reading your Dry Creek series-need to get back there soon! Thanks so much,Janet.
ReplyDeleteShelley -- So glad you dropped by. I'm writing the Virginia/Colter novella as we speak (or at least, I should be -- I took a break to check in here and was delighted to see you stopped by).
ReplyDeleteAunt Cheryl -- I'm assuming you stopped over from eHarlequin. I so enjoy your posts there. The next Dry Creek is a novella coming out in June in the 2-in-1 called 'A Small Town Bride.' Debra Clopton and I each have a novella. The novellas are the stories of two cousins -- one in Dry Creek and one in Mule Hollow.
ReplyDeleteJust reading this I am looking forward to a small town bride.
ReplyDeleteJanet I LOVE ALL YOUR STORIES AND LOOK FORWARD TO ALL THE COWBOY STORIES TOO. I LIKE HOW EACH STORY HAS A RELIGOUS MEANING. I HAVE MYSELF RELATING MY LIFE TO YOUR BOOKS A LOT.ONE THING I DO NOT REMEMBER YOU WRITING A LOT ABOUT IS DEPRESSION AND HOW IT CAN AFFECT PEOPLES LIVES. IS THIS SOMETHING YOU MIGHT CONSIDER? SINCERELY YOUR TRUE FAN, TINA HUDSON
ReplyDeleteI was given"Snowbound in Dry Creek" to read. Now I have found Janet has written lots of books. I am hooked. My cousin just gave me "Calico Christmas at Dry Creek". Is there an order in which I need to read these books? They are awsome. I love anything about snow, christmas, and good clean romance. Janet how about adding something about quilting in your stories? Love your books
